Too bad they don't have an 11. But how do you run a business and just forget about 8 motorcycles? It's not like they are something that fell behind the shelf or something.

          Bigfoot,

Maybe that explains why they are going out of business

On one hand... man it would be sweet to get one of these. On the other hand.. it would (Or should) make you sick to actually hop on it and ride it. They would go from a $5k bike to a 500 dollar bike in a hurry. I hope a collector or museum gets them.

Sorry, Jeremy, I was thinking about Jerry Fields. IIRC, he's only about 50 miles down the interstate from Glenwood Springs. Would be worth a ride over for a look if he's not out on his sled...

I read in Motorcyclist mag this summer, someone found 3 '70ish, BSA Rocket Threes, still in crates. Would be a hard call whether to fire 'em up or not. 'Course the big trick would be to get em to fire up.

I believe if I had a factory fresh XS850, I would be inclined to ride it, just a little.

Man, that red 1980 850 Special has me drooling. I had the '81 just like it back in my senior year of high school.

If I didn't already have two 1100's, I'd be all over it.
