  • "Happy Birthday GURU Egsols!"

Now, I'm not gonna say he's been a thorn in my side...
But he does cause me to do extra work, at times.

I mean... less than 30 days ago I had to do a write up about him attaining GURU status... and now he probably expects something for his birthday, too.

What to say, what to rant about...?
He gives few openings for me to stick the dagger in, or to throw barbs of mockery his way.

I did note that, yes, it's his birthday, but there's no hint as to the age of the birthday boy. I read through almost two years of his posts looking for some clue, some photo... something that I could pin down.

It was back in the original "GURU" post itself.
Someone made a comment accusing Dear Egsols of writing vacant, empty posts... to "Fluff" his way into Guruship.
    His reply was,
"Fluff? I have no fluff. I remove my fluff nightly before I retire."
Now, that's not age related, but...

Is it possable... that he also removes his teeth nightly before going to bed?

      Happy Birthday Ernie!

      Hope it's a good one.

Is the hockey rink ready yet?

Or are you getting too old for that?

        Thanks for the greetings!

Paul, yes the rink is ready, pucks have already been lost in the neigbouring yards.

Prom, see this post for a clue, however, some mathematical ability may be required.....http://www.xs11.com/forum/showpost.p...3&postcount=12

As for a pic here you go (3 yrs ago) , my son shares the same bday as me, however, as much as he wants my 11, that is one thing I will not share with him, he has to settle for a 50. Although my two front teeth are not original, they are not removable. (without extreme force that is)

Another Sag. eh? Was in a bar once, (well. more than once,) sitting next to a young lady. "What's your sign?" she inquired.
                  "Sagitarius," I responded.
                  "O-o-h! The archer!" She replied.
"No," sez I, "the horses ass!"
I thought it was clever. Had to go home to my wife, alass.
                  Happy Birthday bro!

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
                  I've been riding since 1959.

                    "Another Sag?"

I've seen some of the women you talk to in bars, Ed.
"Sag" doesn't even begin to describe them!

Thanks, I couldn't have imagined a better present. (Reaping joy from another's misery)

But in an attempt to ease your disdain.....when one turns the page on another year, in this area, so does the vehicle registration. There is something peverted about having to go down to the license office, stepping over snow banks along the way, to obatin a plate renewal for the XS.

Thanks to all for the greetings.

Horse's azz, lol, now that's a different point of view
