my car got stolen

we went to Springfield to see family and the dodge was stolen Tues night.the cops found it wen around noon out by veneta STRIPPED.
they took the tires and rims,stereo,amp subs,the wiring for the amp,the autometer tach,the xm stuff,kasadie's car seat,some baby toys and clothes,the counter shaft to the tranny for my motorcycle,digi camera,radar detector,the battery out of the car,they cut the neg batt cable off,some tools of mine,some other crap and my gun. it was in its case in the truck.
i gave the cops the serial # so if anyone trys to sell it to a pawn shop they get screwed. it had a bad barrel so if they shoot it it could blow up on them.jen was going to get me a new barrel for x mas.


jens dad was a huge huge help to help me get the car going to get all 4 of us home. he had some rims that fit then we had to go to les scwabs for new tires.plus he loned us a batt and even had a trailer to tow the car to a safe place so we could get it ready for the road.

so when ever i can afford it i will need to find a counter shaft and gears for my bike.

They have be real a%%holes in the first place to steal it, but to take the toys too, they are on the bottom of the bottom feeding pile.

Hey, I've got a counter shaft and gears I'll let you have for cheap, they will need to be back cut before you use them, but I'm guessing thats why you had yours out. PM me and we'll work out the details.

Man my heart goes out to ya...some people aren't human at all...
I have a set of gears too...1st/4th...2nd/5th...if you cant come to terms abt the other offer...I'll donate these to you..just pay the shipping...gears were replaced by new factory backcut gears...so these would need the dremel fix.I dont have the shaft though.Just want you to know that the majority of ppl are good...but it only takes 1@$$hole to ruin it for everyone...I hope they catch 'em..

They say a car is stolen somewhere in the US every 26 seconds. I can't imagine being at a point in life where stealing a car would sound like a good idea. Some people are just inhuman. There's a new show on TV that profiles cops who hunt car theives, and it's amazing how fast and how often people decide to run off with other people's posessions.

It was once a hanging offence to steal a man's horse. In my mind, a car is the same thing. These people get off so easily nowadays...

My good neighbors factory 20" rims got stolen off his 2009 GMC truck last week on Friday. I had a security camera up by Saturday night. Color, night vision, dvr, etc..... I'm ready now. Bought another one to put up this weekend along with some motion sensors that active a light or whatever you plug into it inside the house. I was going to do it anyways because of my crappy neighbors unsupervised, weed smoking, step-dad's truck driving 14 year old that has failed a couple grades. He kept putting glass under my tires and letting the air out of them while he stayed up til 2 am on school nights. All because I wouldn't let them borrow $1,500 less than 2 months after we moved in. I see a bright future for him....... in jail.

I had a car stolen in Phoenix about 20 years ago.The police didnt even come out.I called and they took a report over the phone.I asked the lady how long till an officer comes out.She said "why, is there anything there for them to look at?"She also said 200 cars a day are stolen in phoenix every day(back in the early '90s). They found it 2 days later on an Indian reservation with no stereo bullet holes and the dash tore up.The tow company then screwed me out of $250 for on top of that. I hate thieves .

As a long time Dodge fan, any Dodge stolen is grounds for homicide by reason of insanity brought on by major pissed-of-ness.

I had a Hodaka Super Rat stolen once. I actually found the guy riding it about a week later while I was cruising the local dirt bike riding area. My pissed-off-ness kicked in and I chased him down till he crashed it, in a '70 Roadrunner. It needed an alignment shortley after. But I had my bike back and he was in jail.

Sorry to hear about the loss of all the goodies, it looked like a real sano rig. You will soon get it back to like it was.

I just recently started locking up my "75 Power Wagon. I always figured who gonna steal a rig like this? Not gonna tempt fate anymore. Could your hook up a propane torch to a solenoid that would ingnite if........................

ya all together i lost about 4 grand worth of stuff.but at least it still runs and after a bit of work i was able to drive it home.i will slowly make it better than it was.it tool a few years to get it where it was.next time i plan on going with 3 12's or 2 15's. and a bigger amp.
