    Hey Bug,

Believe it or not, I did a school science experiment many decades ago regarding the wavelength of light and it's affect on plants, etc.! The least amount of light energy from WHITE LIGHT is in the green spectrum....the middle!! The most energy is in the red and violet ranges...both far ends of the visible light spectrum. That's why most photosysnthesis plants are GREEN, to reflect that weak color/wavelength and allow them to obsorb the stronger red/violet wavelengths which power the sysnthesis process the best!!!

The blue white light is in the higher frequency, smaller wavelength range, and can travel farther more easily, and can therefore provide the stronger lighting affect, but like FRED stated, causes more GLARE affect on the folks on the receiving end of that light source!!

I checked out my headlights again last night. They are aimed properly. When on a dark street, they actually seem to work fairly well, but when there's a fair amount of streetlighting and such, I can't tell IF my lights are even on or NOT!? I took some photos thru my windshield, and I'll be getting these PHILIPS high powered lights and installing them, and then will repeat the photos at the same location to see the difference, and will post them here once I do, so you all can see the results and decide whether you think it would be a worthwhile upgrade for your vehicle!?

That's how you can tell someone who loves science! I loved those Science Fair projects in elementary school! Heck, I still remember the results of one of my sister's science fair projects.
