    Hi Rick,
So wearing the carnation and silly hat would not have worked anyway
There was a good display of vintage bikes and a lot of old guys looking at them If you like old bikes you should visit teh Glenn Curtiss museum in
Hamman(d)sport NY.especially if you like old airplanes aswell.

I was hoping to meet someone from the Venture Forum there or get my brother to go with me . Well now that I know more people here I'll hope to head up there and meet some of you this season.

        Cheap Sun Glasses

        Hey Phil
And I had my gold tooth and two tone shoes ready to go !
Funny you should mention vintage aircraft. I have been up to the Hamilton Warplane Heritage several times. The summer is the best time to go when they are flying them. The sound of the Lancaster bombers 4 Rolls Royce Merlin engines on full power is excillerating. Does the place in New York have a website ? Thx Rick

            Absolutely

I'm up for that. My Dad flew in Wellingtons, Halifax's and Landcasters in WW2. He's in a local nursing home now. I have his RCAF AG patch on the sleeve of my bike jacket. I would be super interested in talking to anyone involved in restoration of the old war birds and maybe getting some photo's to show pop. Thx Rick.

                Hi Rick & Jim,
Maybe we should start a new thread for summer rides in Ontario? I suggest that first we meet Rick on his home turf and visit Mount Hope which I have not seen for quite a few years. Then we go to Trenton. Perhaps we could visit Campbellford too. I presume they still have the Indian Days thing even though Charlie is gone? July if I recall correctly.

                        Actually

I stole the lyrics from ZZ Top. I think the ride thead idea for Southern Ontario is a great one. Very good of you to volunteer Phil. I would be happy to assist as I'm sure Jim will too. I promise to leave the Zoot suit at home.

                            And the point was....

I think Phil volunteered to post a Southern Ontario Summer ride thread.
Anyone who knows what a zoot suit is can be forgiven memory lapses.
