Hi all just wanted to say to everyone i am new here and this is a great forum. I am new to riding i got my licence last june have always wanted to ride now i am and loving it. My main bike is a 1982 Maxim 1100 and i just bought a 1980XS 1100 that i will be restoring for next year. Thanks for all the great info on here it helps very much

Hi Jim, welcome to a great site, great resource and great people. I have an '83 XJ1100 and a '79 XS1100 that I restored last fall, winter, spring and most of this summer. There are quite a few of us XSives around the Ottawa area.
