I'm thinking about a trip up there next year durring the summer. Anyone interested in joining up to help share the tools and spares? Keep in mind that although there may be safety in numbers, this is not some catered trip with a rescue vehicle following along. If you think you or your bike aren't up to it you should fix it and prepare for some long distance traveling. This would be my first time traveling north, but not my first time LD touring.

First bike was an: 1978 XS1100
Second bike is an FJR1300.
Now I'm restoring a '79 XS1100. -
My dad used to fly mail out of Dead Horse. I would bite at the chance to go, although finances and family obligations deem otherwise.
I was in Aniak in November a few years back, flew all over the southwest part of the state. As beautiful as the state is in the dead of winter, I can only imagine what it is like in the summer.Ich habe dich nicht gefragt. -
the road to Deadhorse

I traveled north on the Dalton? HWY to get to the artic circle, Dead horse was another 200+ mile further north. I do not think I would take my XS on this road.
