MAdmax-IM,
That is a very nice one for sure. He spared no expense either.

Would you really consider this a $4,000 trike? It looks more like training wheels to
I believe a trike is based on three wheels, not four.
That's gotta be fun to ride....wonder if there are any brakes on the "training wheels".
I remember laughing when my kid, as he was learning to ride a bicycle, went through a bit of rut. The training wheels where on higher ground thus causing the rear wheel to loose contact and he was peddling like mad but not moving. It works the other way too, when trying to stop.

Hi Madmax,
howdya manage that? The first XS650 Special was the late 1978 SE and the first Heritage Special was a 1982 or 1983 model.

Hi again Madmax,
and you liked that thing? The only good part is that the builder presumably saved all the stock parts so this particular Humpty Dumpty could be put back together again. And a 48T rear sprocket? Even hauling a sidecar my XS650 Heritage Special only needed a 42T rear sprocket. That chopper has a 2-speed tranny with 3 underdrives.
