How to add a photo album?

Ok...I just love the new features here at Ch.11...I've been looking for the past hour as to how to create a photo album...but havent found anything relevant...so hows' it done?

In the members menu at ythe top of the page is a link to the "member photos" area. Click that, then once it loads, click "your album". You'll likely get an error the first time you click it. If you do, click the back button on your browser and try again after a few seconds.

Then you'll have links to add pictures.

Don't believe the size limits it tells you...it lies. (gotta fix that)

Everyone has 1 MB of space, enough for 10 or so 640x480 pictures.

I have tried a few times and it goes through the motions of uploading my picture then the screen goes white and when i open my album it says empty...

I'm not it getting either

tried and re-tried several times and still get the error box...nothing ever gets as far as me loading anything...I just get an error code 500 I think it was...Authentication Failure

I hate to keep sounding like a broken record, but have you tried logging out, clearing your browser cookies, and then logging back in?

The older cookies can conflict with the new ones and fook things all up. Clearing them out resets everything.

quick photo question

Ok, I've added my thumbnail pic. to the album (641KB). Tried to add another photo (530KB), but it says that I've exceeded my limit of 750KB disk space. It says that I can't download more than 8 MB at a time. I don't get it.

Ah, those two pics must be huge. 640k for a pic is pretty bloated. An average 640x480 jpeg should only need to be around 50-70k. Do you have a means of resizing it? The two together exceed the limit of the album.

Believe me, I hate the space limits we have to apply to the gallery. And to the site in general. Dedicated server space with a large hard drive is probably out of the budget we can make though. It's pretty pricey.
