I sent an order for needles and seats to Partsnmore and when I received the order, I noticed the company is located in Canada. I thought about this for a while and then decided to send the parts back, as Canada refuses to support us and even thier own countymen in the Iraqi war effort. I sent an e-mail asking for thier return policy. I received a prompt reply that told me I would be charged a $10 restocking fee and I sould lie on the custom form and say the parts are defective so that the company can get around paying a customs fee. So I pack up the parts and sent them back without saying the parts are defective and wrote a note telling them my setiments on the cowardice of the Canadain people and that I would never buy parts from them ever! If I get my money back minus the 10 bucks, I'll let you all know.

Yup. That'll sure teach them... maybe it will teach them that they don't want to support the XS11 and carry parts for them anymore. Enjoy your leaky float valves.

And yes, I am a Canadian, and damm proud to be one. A little pissed at my government right now mind you, as I do think we should be supporting the current war effort but it wasn't my decision to make.

          Hey XS11jack,
I am not going to get political, but I think if you were so Pro-American you should have checked to see where thier business was based from before YOU ordered. It is not thier fault they live in Canada. And I imagine most Canucks support the US forces even if thier government does not. The US Military IS Canada's defense system, and they are aware of it.
I have never ordered from partsnmore, but I have heard thier service is good. Thier prices are fair. I would not be to quick to black ball them because of government decisions that our out of thier control.
I would however blackball Iraq, Iran, and Syria - but that is just my personal opinion. If you money order gets the Hell bombed out of it, you will probably never recieve your parts.

Peace on earth must begin somewhere, why not between you and Partsnmore?

I have dealt with PartsnMore several times and have always recieved great prices and service. I have traded emails with them since the war started and didn't get any kind of bad attitude from them. I can't see how you can blame the company for anything their government may say anymore than they could blame you for anything your government might say or do. I am very proud of our troups and think that this is a just cause but respect others rights to think otherwise.

              Partsnmore, again

Here is abit more. When I e-mailed them, twice, I received no reply and had to call long distance. The man on the phone said no stocking fee would be applied, and yet his conformation e-mail said a $10 stocking fee WOULD apply. Next I see no difference between Canada that won't support England, let alone the US, and Irag, or France, or Russia, or China, or anyone that we have selflessly helped and not asked for anything. Colin Powell, when asked by a Left wing Brit about what we wanted from Irag, land or oil, Mr Powell said we wanted no more than what we asked of the countries we helped out in other wars, just enough land to bury our dead!

Hey buddy, just checked out your profile & now I understand!!! In your shoes I wouldn't give a crap if I never seen the money or the parts, it's all about what you believe in! Thank GOD for our boys and thier willingness to not comprise even if it means their lives! Too bad about the Canada thing tho. I'm sure if we ever truly needed them they'd be there, unlike those 2faced Bastards in France!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! Garry

                      Partsnmore one last time.

I know I have stepped on some toes, and I aplogize for that. I stand with my statements on Canada. I will never compromise on the love for my country and my God.
                      Enough said.

I am a Specialist in the Army Reserves and my wife is currently deployed, as are about 30 soldiers from my unit.

We, as a nation, are not condemning the Iraqi people because of their government. Why should we condemn anyone else because of theirs. Does anyone even know if the people at Partsnmore support their government's view, or do do they support the war effort?
There are companies in our own country, like Target, that will not support the troops.

We, as soldiers, defend the rights of our people to express their views, even when we don't agree with them. By extension we should extend those rights to people of other nations.

As some one with a very personal stake in this, I just wanted to express my view.
I respect beliefs of everyone who posted here. Xs11jack, and all others who support the troops, I applaud your partiotism. Your support helps boost the moral of the troops over seas. All too often, they hear about the anti war protests, positive support lets them know that we do appreciate what they are doing.

I'm too far off topic now so I will end this.
