One of the things I miss about being in So Cantaffordya. Originally from upstat NY where the colors are just beginning to show.

Ive been looking forward to michigans color touring but alas, time to tear the bike apart again. Good thing all I have to do is walk out the door to see that but Id rather cruise around thru it.

          God's Country!

Nice shots, only nature can be that beautiful. One day maybe a rally up that way for the Xssessive crowd. I know my bro inlaw aka. Test Bike Dummy, would love to go along with a bunch of other S. Californians. Maybe a rally in South California would be good if there is enough interest. Glad to have met you up in Yosemite....XJ's rule Mike in S. Diego

Birch and aspens, very lovely. The maples are just turning in central WI, and very soon the oak, elm, and others. Going to be very pretty in a week or so. Hope it warms up a bit. I will ride anyhow, but a bit warmer will make these 70 year old bones feel a lot better.

Thanks for the comments. Here are a few more photos taken this last Sunday from the Buzzard Pass area of the Grand Mesa.

I'll be adding / rearranging more photos on my Gallery page noted in my first post.

As for the panniers, Ray has the right of it...genuine Vetter bags. I don't take them off, although they are detachable.

Jerry, that's incredible country in Colorado. I just spent 8 days in the Montrose, Durango, Salida, and Sand Dunes Park area with the Yamaha Venture group.
                              It was just super.
Drove into Salt Lake and rented a brand new 2008 Goldwing to tour with. We saw Grand Arhes and the Colorado Monument in the fall. Colors were about a week earlier than you were but you could see how beautiful it was going to be.
