        Hey Tarzan ..
This bike is that clean only because it has not been caught in the rain ... and never will be. It was striped down to the frame and every nut and bolt was put to the wire wheel during the restoration. I only use this bike on prime days like today was and usually only with the xs1100 lads on group rides. It is pretty much a show bike / Sunday ride bike. I have a 83 Kat for daily use and a modified 1100 in the works that will replace the Kat so it can also be restored.

Thanks Ken ... It has taken a few years and some dollars to return her to this condition. It was worth every hour and every penny ...

Nice clear blue sky out here! A bit cooler than yesterday. If I can get my yard work done I hope to take Max out for a rip!

This bike is that clean only because it has not been caught in the rain ...
You nailed it! Once you get caught in a good storm, it will NEVER look that clean again. I remember when my bike was nice to look at; before I dropped the tank, 3 storms, and a 70 mph muffler bomb ago.
