    Heh, just kidding.

But with those same compnents and a 90% empty tank you can launch a car a fair distance with a gas explosion.

The issue is, right now, that we can't put enough hydrogen in a car without cutting into safety (where to hide it from collision) cargo space or passenger space.

Personally, to cut the pollution output of cars to near zero, I would gladly put up with a few more fuel stops.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

we did a thread on this very subject a little while back, someone on the site has one on their work truck, with no other mods, was getting 10% better fuel economy, but running a higher ethanol blend made it a wash. can't remember the title of the thread, something about running cars on water, can't remember. and yes, if adapted to the 11, jetting and adjustments would likely be needed unless converted to FI with a closed control loop. at any rate, alot of work for the gain on a motorcycle. all I got for now, have a nice day and ride safe

ok ya'll obviouslt haven't seen the hho video. a guy in fla i think??? invented a way to split one of the h's out of water using electylysis... he used it for cutting metal at first. as he heats the metal water pours off the metal. and he can touch the tip of the torch with his bare hands because it's cool to the touch. he also converted his ford escort and gets 100 miles to 4 ounces of water. i have the news video at work i'll have to send it to my home addy and post it.

I didn't bother to watch the video, but I did do a little research on the subject. I had my daughter ask her chemistry professor if the concept would work, he looked at it and said yes, it would make hydrogen. I don't know if it will produce enough to actually offset the fuel usage as I have not done any real experimentation. I believe that even given the whole efficiency thing, using the excess electron flow generated by the alternator, one might be able to generate enough hydrogen to fatten up the mixture a bit and cause the control loop to cut down how much fuel it is injecting into the engine. the unit supposedly uses 3 amps, not alot by auto alternator standards. I have heard that it does work, by someone on this site. I have no first hand knowledge of this, but have no reason to doubt the XSive from the other thread....I wish I could remember that thread. oh well. that's all I got for now, may haps I'll remember it later. have a nice day and ride safe
