Cool man...you should get those tars that have the spikes in 'em for ice track racing...LOL Around here we dont get much in the way of bad winter weather.../not like Fla but the last 3 yrs we've had maybe 3" of snowfall total.I tend to overheat easily so I prefer the cooler weather riding as opposed to summer riding.I'd really love to move up to Canada to live.If McCain gets elected ...I am

Also remember that Dynojet's "numbers" don't really correspond to Mikuni's numbers. So a DynoJet 138 isn't the same as a Mikuni 138, might not be as big a difference as you think.

Yes i am aware of this..actually there is a cross reference chart for Keihin-Dynojet-Mikuni...So the 122.5 Mikuni's correspond to Dynojet 130 and the Dynojets i have now @138 correspond to Mikuni 130 so that is a sigificant difference IMO

Max,Glad it's running good. May I ask what the cost was. Work on older bikes here in Utah is way, way expensive. Was quoted $100 to sync the carbs, Yea right, I can buy a sync for cheaper than that.

            hang onto your hat

Well their shop labor rate is $50/hr and thats damn cheap...however they worked on the carbs for 7 hours and so that came to $350!And that was for jetting, teardown and complete cleaning and synching the carbs.
So that aint cheap...plus I still had some other issues that had to be fixed...but the carbs were the most expensive part of it.On the other hand paying someone to get it right the first time and not having to keep dicking with it is priceless ...to me.Mind you I have had 2 gurus work on this bike then myself and it still was defying me.If I hadnt taken it to this shop...I'd still be dicking with it..LOL
So at this point its done and now I can just ride off into the sunset...LOL
