  • Never loan out your camera

Well, you can tell by this photo a very good reason why you should not loan your camera to your neighbor.

I finally took my camera along for a ride with my buddy Gary from Maine. Nice day, beautiful ocean backdrop, ......but, the batteries were almost dead in my camera. I tried to adjust the color but this was the best I could do. We were towards the end of our ride so didn't really have time to go buy more batteries.

At least our ride was fun going from Portsmouth, NH to Salisbury, Mass for some pizza.

Gary's on the left, 1100SH, mine on the right, 1100SG

That's suppose to be a nice blue sky and blue ocean with the Isle of Shoals in the background...not a snow storm.

I'll try again, hopefully soon but make sure I put new batteries in the camera.

Still, a nice pic of the bikes. I learned the hard way too. Now I use rechargeable battries and I always carry a spare fully charged set with me wherever/whenever I take my camera with me.

Hm reminds me of that episode of battlestar galactica when they got sucked into some world where everything was white like that.

Well, at least the bikes came out... that's the important part.

Just curious though... what does this have to do with loaning your camera to your neighbor?
Didn't you check your batteries before you left?

I do agree though, you should never loan out your camera... you never know what you'll find on it when you get it back

She's a petite hottie so can ya blame me? I got it only a couple of months ago and she's had it 95% of the time. I could only wish she'd leave a little gift photo on there for me.

You'd think I would have remembered the last time I used a camera, not this one but another. Of course, the B-2 Stealth Bomber was flying over for an air show....after three attempts of taking a photo, I realized I didn't have film in the camera. Damn scary, aren't I?
