I did a test username application yesterday, and had the site send the confirmation email to the Contact Us Hotmail address, and it ALSO got filtered into the JUNK folder! It may be due to some of the wording in the subject, ie. VERIFICATION?? So...you will just need to edit your filter settings to allow emails from XS11.com!? As far as I know, the site hasn't changed anything in how it sends out emails...we haven't gotten the upgrade done yet!

Well, I guess they used to SAY they come from xs11.com, but that's just the reply to address, and since the WEBMASTER almost never reads the emails/messages sent to that address, AND a few new members had tried to contact the site and the Contact Email addy in the confirmation email had the webmaster(at)www.xs11.com and was NOT being read, I editted that and changed it to the ForumAdminxs11(at)hotmail.com addy.
That contact info was already changed in the Forums CONTACT US/Email US link, but not in the confirmation email! I wanted folks to be able to actually reach someone that would answer/reply to them IF they were having trouble getting confirmed, registering with the site.
SO....the emails are still coming from www.xs11.com, but they have the reply/return addy of the ForumAdminXS11(at)hotmail.com, and most likely that's why they are getting filtered by junk/spam filters!
So...folks will just need to edit their junk/spam filters in their email programs to allow them from the new address.

I can change the filter to accept them but they still get flagged as dangerous.

About Sender ID, spoofing, and phishing
Sender ID is a technical solution started by Microsoft and other industry leaders to help fight spoofing (Sending messages with fake or stolen account information.) and phishing (Falsely claiming to be a legitimate business to send you to a fake website or scam you into giving out private information.) , which are the two primary deceptive practices used by senders of junk e-mail (Unwanted, unsolicited, or illicit e-mail or other electronic messages, including spam.) . For more information, visit the Sender ID Framework Overview web page.
Notes
Windows Live Hotmail treats all messages that fail Sender ID and phishing tests as fraudulent and warns the user about opening these messages. For information about how to read blocked e-mail messages, see Block or allow messages from specific senders and domains.
If you experience difficulties when you use another mail service to send your mail, but you use your Windows Live Hotmail address as the sending address, contact the network administrator of the other service for help.
