Scrapped..

Dont worry not the XS. A few weeks ago I scrapped my parts jeep.. Was 4200 lbs so not bad at 200 bucks a ton.. well today I loaded up 3000 lbs of other steel I had layin around here..

This would pay for a bunch of stuff for my bike.. side covers, seat ect.. well I get there only to find the price has dropped to 120 a ton #$(*(_$^%^# !!!

Oh well instead of 300 I got 180.. bummer.. Its still goin towards the XS but Im kinda let down.. So I went and bought a 5th of rum.. hahah. I would have waited till it went up if I had known.. too bad cause I got rid of a really cool old jacobson golf course mower.. (way heavy)..

Cant always make out like a bandit I guess.

Wasn't a GroundsKeeper by any chance? I have a friend who collects them, would have paid a decent price. He is in Wisconsin, retired, and would drive to MI to pick one up, even not running.

I used to know what it was I think it was called a 76, had a large frame 8 horse on it.. SUPER heavy, 4 wheels in front (duals) and used to be one that you would stand on and drive and just the little rear wheels steered.. someone converted it to sitting with a nice tractor seat.. it still runs if ya mess with it. has a mower reel on either side that you let down and one in the front.

I cleaned out my garage and barn a few weeks ago and got close to $300 but I had a lot of copper and aluminum which made a big difference. I think I still got more layin around but if the price has dropped I think I will hold off a bit......
