Have you tried Greasy Joe's in St Kilda Chrisso? They've been serving burgers like that for years. And you can have a beer while eating it

That looks yummy!! A local bar/grill serves a single patty 1/2 lb. burger. It's about 7" in dia. You can cut it in half and it's still a good burger. Nope I've never had one but I guy I used to work w/ has, and he ate the whole thing.

I got an email from my brother who lives a few hundred metres from Greasy Joes. Word is that the original was best, it expanded and now, apparently, the building is being demolished/ renovated and a four storey something is being put in its place...

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Was wondering how long that building would last for. Shame, it was a good burger joint. Aaah well, just have to go straight to the Espy for beers now.

On HY 70 going east past Oroville lake there's a bar and grill at the top of a long steep hill. They have a burger challenge.
If you can eat there "big burger" in one sitting it's free.
I've never tried but saw one. It is just a little smaller than a dinner plate.

Out east in PA you can have one of these...

The Big Texan (?) Restaurant in Amarillo has the same sort of deal. 96 ounce steak with all the fixings, eat it all in an hour, and it is free.

Back in the day when I was a little snot, my dad, uncle and their buddy each had one. They were done in half an hour, and asked if it came with dessert. The proprietor was pissed and checked under the seats and in pockets and such to see where they put it all.

And they say I am big at 320. I couldn't eat that.
