I dunno about that mate, there's a clip on the internet of some Italian guys who shoe-horned a GSXR750 motor into a Vespa. Funny as feck to watch this thing haul ass down the road. No exhaust system to speak of so it sounded raw, like one seriously over the top angry scooter.

Any chance Prometheus has an XS11 powered Vespa there?

He means the Eleven is much more powerful and a lot faster than the Vespa.

              ok, he is right
but eleven is 1100cc and 285 kg
              vespa is 130cc and 80kg
they are two different worlds but I like both

Around Christmas few years ago PROMETHEUS decorated up his VESPA for the Christmas rally ride and thought he would be a Santa's helper....but after a long hard VESPA ride that day he was photgraphed taking a break on the side of the road and XSperienced a VESPA transformation
(may have been his 26th year piloting VESPA's , so could be something for you to look forward to.

Works both ways. I owned a few Laverdas. When I got my Jota, I made the dealer get me a factory service manual. I was elated when it showed up, till I found out it was all in Italian. Thank god there is no "language" for pictures. I actually ended up going to the University campus in Albuquerque and paying someone to translate the more used sections of the manuals.
