But I still don't have all the facts and it could be awhile before I get them.
Just need a little support, and to me there is no better place to find it than here with all of you...
Wednesday morning, at 1:11 am, my daughter's boyfriend was killed while riding his motorcycle. There are no details yet as to what the cause of the accident was, but the police feel that speed may have been a factor. He left the road and struck a utility pole. It is our hope that he never knew what happened. That he was killed instantly. The idea of him suffering while he waited alone for someone to notice and call for help is too much to bear.
He was a good boy who had some serious problems in the past, but had worked out of them. He was 25, a Navy recruiter(planning on leaving the service in another year), he had just bought his first home(1/2 mile from my daughter's house), and was getting ready to pay off the motorcycle that he loved so much(2003 HD). He was an excellent rider with a lot of experience, but at 25 years old, had that wild side that sometimes got him into trouble. He leaves behind his dog, Harley, that my daughter is hoping his family will allow her to keep, his parents and a younger brother.
My daughter has been seeing him on and off for about a year. They had recently fought and broken up again. Joe still had some issues to work out with himself, and my daughter was hoping that he would, and they would come back together. She loved him, and it breaks my heart to see her suffer because the last words they exchanged were in anger. I was hoping that he would've been my son-in-law at some point. I liked him.
I didn't post this in the memorium section(you can move it if you like)because I don't have the details and other items that I want to put there as a memorial gathered yet. When I do, I will place them there.
Thanks for listening...
