Sorry Ted. Got your message just after 9 this a.m., later than your stated departure time, then got side tracked and forgot to send a reply.

And, wouldn't you know it... more rain.

We'll have to get together - hopefully with some of the other guys - in the near future and enjoy some 'good' fall riding!

Now, if we can only convince our southern brothers to keep the remnants of the hurricanes and tropical storms south of the 49th, maybe, just maybe, we can get some decent weather.

So can we expect a ride report complete with pictures anytime soon?

        Saturday

The journey is the destination a wise man (or a vulcan ) said . On my ride down the rain let up occasionaly for a treat and it held off for the rest of the aft in Delta . Things were pretty damp just the same . Chatted with Carl and Ted until olebiker went home . Venders were closing early but we bugged a few . A couple of Northern OB's were there but didnt seem to recognize me !!! I only saw them a week earlier on our group ride to Fort William , QC . Ted and I shared a couple of thimbles of coffee and waited for dinner(roast beast) . BOY howdy , it was worth the wait . The chef even gave us a little sample on advice from Bob the restaurant owner (where the OB's meet) . We must have looked hungry .
A Kool ride home with a Tim's stop and Ted accompanied me to Almonte .
All in all as good a day as could be expected . I was a little under the weather and I'm paying for it today .

The only pics I got was a couple Ted took with my phone. Now if I just knew how to get them from the phone to here "something else I don't know"............

So the only thing I missed was a good soaking and a good roast beef dinner?

            Any interesting old bikes?

Lots of indians 1940's. Older guzzi not really a lot. I think the rain kept a lot home.

Hey Carl, no doubt the rain dampened (pardon the pun) rally attendance for sure.

I'll start planning the 2nd annual pumpkin tour!
