    Talking of going down

My buddy that bought the GSXR1000 as his first bike has been having a ball. Out on it all the time - and riding sensibly to with the right gear on.

Amyway, he went to do a u-turn in the road and came round a little sharp, he tried to put his foot down to regain balance - and his boot lace got caught on the foot peg
Now he has a couple of scratches and broke the gear shift lever

No big deal and lesson learnt, but I feel for him.

I notice when I use the riding boots, no lace, no problem. If I use a "normal" shoe, the laces WILL catch on something! I bring shoes, and use the boots for the most part. JAT

That's one thing I hate about my XJ. Every time I put my feet down my pant leg catches on the pegs. My last bike was a cruiser with forward controls so the pant leg issue wasn't a problem. Be nice to move the forward or back about 3 inches.

Oh well. I'll just get used to it I guess.
