I have a miss on my 99 Chevy PU. I put in new AC plugs. That helped but still have miss. I was going to put new plug wires on. Are Carol brand OK. I can get them cheap on e-bay. Or should I stay with OEM AC.

Almost any plug wires SHOULD be good. Carol has been around for years, but you need to look at what type of wire it is. The newer cars all REQUIRE that you replace the wires when you do plugs. OEM wires will be the same. If you spend the money for the "high end" wires, they should last at least two plug changes, and maybe three. That will save money over time.Ray Matteis

Anyone else on here noticed that the "Lifetime Warranty" parts for autos (Brakes, wires, alternators, etc) don't last nearly as long as the non-warrantied stuff? Sure, you get free replacement, but you still have the trouble of installation again. If you paid someone to do it.. it's even worse. Maybe that's the point? Feed the starving mechanics? lol.

Lifetime warranty
I own two things with a lifetime warranty. My Sidchrome tools and my Zippo lighter. I've never had to make a claim on either.Automotive Imbecile.
