Sounded like a bunch of loafers sitting around doing Mel Gibson impersonations.
I tried watching some of the Chinese Olympics but had to turn it off, same as I did years ago when it was held in Australia. Bunch of odd looking people, walking around speaking gibberish.

A New Zealand man has been sentenced to community service after telling police he had been raped by a wombat and the experience had caused him to start speaking "Australian".
Arthur Cradock, a 48-year-old orchard worker from Motueka on South Island, rang police on February 11 to say he was being raped by the slow-moving Australian marsupial at his home, The Nelson Mail reported.
He rang back soon afterwards to say he was withdrawing his complaint against the wombat, a court was told.
"Apart from speaking Australian now, I'm pretty all right you know," he told police in the second call.
Cradock pleaded guilty to using a phone for a fictitious purpose and was sentenced to 75 hours community work.
Prosecutors said alcohol played a large part in Cradock's life, although his defence lawyer said he was not drunk on the afternoon of the phone calls.
Ya know, Dan... Nobody has chimed in here, but I'd have to say that I'd be pretty danged impressed with a bit of the watermelon juggling you mentioned. Don't cheat though.. we want three full sized ones! When you get that, throw a running chainsaw into the mix... and you should be able to quit your day job! lol.
As for the accent, is it just me or does it make the guys sound worse, but the women sound hot!? lol. Maybe it was just the thoughts of that one time in high school with the exchange student from there?? lol.
As for the zoo comment... if you aren't at the zoo, where'd you get the ape that was operating the camera? Buh da dum.. Thanks.. I'll be here all week.

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

In the US, a tractor-trailer rig can have more than 1 trailer attached. This type of load is sometimes called a "double-bottom" but more frequently the trailers are called "pups" or "double pups". There is a web shot site that has quite a few photos of double-pup rigs: http://rides.webshots.com/album/5515...Ik?vhost=rides
Given this use of "pups" in trucking, it isn't hard to understand the "truck and dog" label.

Good point...
On the subject of choosing subjects, feel free. I want to do some bike ones obviously but if you'd like to see me recite poetry or juggle watermelons etc, I'm open to suggestions.
I was thinking more along the line of a "Day in the Life of Stralya" or maybe some video of parts of Australia that we usually don't get to see... but melon juggling could be fun... and is... ahem...
Can I suggest you (Kat) break out your own camera and post something on your beautiful machine? I'm sure we'd all love to see you juggle melons of some sort as well!
Ummmm sure, Dan... I'll get right on that...

If I can make at least one person smile, or pee their pants a little, or maybe spit out their drink; then my day is not wasted.

Don't believe what they say Seppo's, I'm a kiwi living in Aus (never been molested by a wombat but eh), and they all have accents, every last bloody one of'em. Except in Bondi of course
Spend one day in Melbourne and you'll hear more different accents than you could imagine.
They do actully become more comprehensible the more drunk they get though.

Is it... the more drunk they get? or the more drunk we get?
Just be careful around any wombats... you just never know for sure what they're thinking... Slow could just be a ruse...
