  • Michigan - Back to the Bricks

Me and my brother crusied down to flint this weekend for the Back to the Bricks shindig in Flint. He was riding his 2008 Hardley heritage classic police special (retired sheriff deputy) and me on my lil ol 82 yameehammer XJ1100. I sure did get a lot of compliments on the XJ. I think it was cuz it was ridin next to one of them there nice hardleys.

My 11 was down there Friday night. It drew a bigger crowd then the Harley's they were not amused.
I hate signatures. Too many cars and Bikes to list here.

Just a sidenote and keeping within "back to the bricks" here's a pic of my dad's ol 1952 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe which he installed himself a 1954 331 Hemi BALANCED, BLUEPRINTED, and chromed to the hilt motor. The pic is right before he put the craiger SS's on. We spent a lot of time on ol US 27 with this car. I remember when I was real little I spent most of my time huddled next to my sister in the back seat on the floor boards praying to God he would just slow down a bit and my mother screaming for dear life. But that was dad, he kicked it into overdrive and off we went at 150+mph. LOL Sure wish I had pics of that and the motor. Dad's long gone 10yrs now and the car? I'd like to get it back. Also, an update......the guy I just bought the XJ from? Well I'm gonna take the plunge and pick up the parts for another one. Actually he has all the parts for TWO! XJ11's!!!! Most brand new!!! Got a buddy in hemlock that will put them together for me. Here's a real knuckel head! When I was living in Dallas he rode his Suzy street 250 down there from Michigan!

              fall color tour....

hey there mstic2000...will have 2 have more info about the ride...you know the when's, where's, & times....also will have 2 c what my work schedule allows....work has been up and down, but usually it starts picking up in the fall/winter months...but if i can make it, i will try my best....i don't know if you have seen the "rebel devil", but here is a couple photos of the bike and the "brain bucket"....

just looked up the directions and harrison is 166 miles from my front door.....please tell me that one of the bikes will be towing a trailer full of beer and at the start of the ride, if you come alone, a hot stripper is given to each rider to fill up the b*tch seat......(that could be a great incentive to get more riders to show)....(h*ll, we could even let the "harley" guys in on the ride, even though they would have to ride at the back of the pack!!)....i know the SWMBO will not be riding on this one....let me know via pm and keep me iinformed.....talk 2 ya later....ross
