My winter, spring, summer project

Ok, I finally finished the copper chopper rat rod. I just kept getting held up by other things, but now it's done. It runs good and is even legal!!!!! I added the fender, against my will, and even the other rearview. Anyway it's done. Hope y'all like it.

Only thing is, you're confused about what a "Rat Rod" is. That thing is way to nice to be called that! I would go with bobber or sportster killer....

Forgot to say that it's first 30 years of life were spent as a 78 xs11 standard. It was a motor and frame that sat in my garage for years. I rebuilt it with parts I liked from alot of years. It's the bastard son of 50 xs11's with a cool seat and bars. It's become my main ride. I like the way the standards roll down the road.

To me, and this is just my own personal opinion, a bike like yours looks better than any of the tricked out bikes you see'em put together on TV. It sure is a work of art you got there.

Ken,... The seat is from a Harley, I think a sportster or fat bob. I remember it was a badlander. I mounted the foam and cover to my kid's skate board after I cut it to fit. The kick tail on the board fit nice on the frame. It's bolted to the frame cross bar(twice), fender, and I put a tab on the bottom to go in the hole at the tank. It's hard, and not an all day seat.

Where'd you find the kicker...is it custom or off some other bike?

it's from a xs850, you can use the xs750's to, you have to put a little smaller bolt in to clear the post.
