hey there folks....if anyone is up 4 it, SWMBO & i are riding 2 hell, mi for a beer and a burger.....leaving mt clemens, mi around 12 or so and plan on being in hell around 1:30 pm.....we will be in the damn inn.....happy b-day 2 me......i'm totally ready for the next 42 and i'll still be riding the "rebel devil".......now back 2 our regular programing......ross

hey there folks...well, we got a late start on 08/09....pulled out around 2 pm.....caught the tailend of a storm just coming outta southfield....then we got rained off the road around brighton.....after a 10 min layover we rode into hell, mi around 3:45 pm....sunshine and blue skies.....was about 50 bikes (mostly harleys) at the bar.....got some funny looks, but didn't get our a**es beat....had a few look over the "rebel devil"........i love when bike owners can't identify the bike and just have 2 take a closer look....anywho back 2 the story....food was the bomb....(& yes schmeerman, we did hydrate properly....1 "holy water" per rider).....it is about 10 miles from hell to the freeway (mi-23)......as soon as we hit the freeway, it opened up and poured on us the entire 75 miles home......soaked 2 the skin, right down to the underwear.....of course the same for our footwear.....the day before, i bought some tickets for the local "poison" show (lawn seats).....we got home around 6 pm and the concert started around 6:30 pm.....it was then that (after we changed clothes and got dry) SWMBO offer me $40 to "not" take her to the concert....needless to say we stayed home, drank many "holy water's" and had quite a good time 2gether.......just remember, like the subject states: "ya gotta go thru h*ll to get to h*ll!"....talk 2 ya later....ross

p.s. i will be doing this ride next year same date 08/09/09
