i JUST GOT A USED FAIRING FOR MY 1979 XS1100F i NEED TO FIND MOUNTING BRACKETS AND i WILL NEED BONEHEAD INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MOUNT IT. tAKE YOUR TIME i STILL NEED TO CLEAN UP AND PAINT BUT IT IS MY NEXT PROJECT.

I have brackets that might work with your fairing...
I'm in Modesto, and my girlfriend lives in N. Stockton (much closer to you than Modesto) so it would be easy to get together...

There is a manual there you can print out and alot of information. They have the wiring diagrams too.
Good luck with it. I have one on the Witch and I wouldn't trade it. The mechanic said to get rid of it. Told him, 'No way, it stays!'
It throws some heat back at you from the engine, but here in New England that's more of a plus than a minus!

Thanks Ron I will give you a call this week. I also found like a bilge pump inside of this thing and I don't think it is stock. I mean where was the p/o riding ?
