do they still make the beer up there , my dad use to work there as a kid and he said they would let him take home cases of beer if one or more bottles were broken.

Nope, the Oly brewery is shut down. Miller bought it in the early 90's (I think). I heard the local government put so many costly EPA requirements on the aging facility, that Miller decided it was not worth the cost to keep it open. I heard at one time a bottled water company was interested in it, but I don't know what happen with that. The brewery currently sits boarded up.
