I know this person that his personal information was used to get credit cards in his name, that he did not authorize. This person worked on his motorcycle, and that person had him sign his name, which he copied and started signing his name on purchases. Well, the police is not helping my friend. My friend is being told that his ID had not been stolen, by the way, my friend cannot read. This person took advantage of this friend. Does anyone have any suggestions as what should be done to this person that owns the motorcycle shop that worked on this friend's bike who stole a credit card from his saddle bag, claiming to be a great motorcycle repair man? Please give me some advice

Holy Ripoff!
Man I was just abt ready to go down there and have him work on my bike!Unfortunately family matters have cancelled my plans to go down there.I had been communicating with him privately for the past month now.He seemed like a nice fellow and it just goes to show you gotta be careful with whom you place your trust.
So Jim this really does change everything....I am not going down there now...in light of all I have read here in the past few months...aparently all is NOT on the up and up.... Were you going to take advantage of me too?I"d prolly go ballistic and end up in jail...cuz anyone who try to F#$% me over like that would get it back...with interest.BTW I could pick anyone off at 200+yds real easy,,,they'd never know what hit 'em1980 XS650G Special-Two

If he stole your buddies CC and used it, the first thing to do is call the CC company (number should be on his statement) and report the card stolen and tell them who he suspects is using it. Most CC companies will not hold the card holder liable for charges he did not make. As good measure, he should file a report with his local cops. Go down to the police station if needed. This way he will have some documentation of the incident. If the "buddy" opened accounts in his name, and he is getting statements from the "bogus" account, call the CC company involved and tell them he did not open this account. Also, call all three credit reporting agencies ASAP and have them "freeze" his credit report. Once that is done, they will not release any information to potential creditors without his written permission and will notify him if someone had tried to open an account.
The main thing here is DO NOT drag your feet on this. Get on the phone now and contact the CC companies involved. Make follow up calls on Monday. The pieces of sheet that do this can make life hell for you real quick. When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

All of that was done. After the work was done on the bike, he had him sign the ticket. He copied the signature and so Chase credit card is saying that the signature is his and not the person that stole the card!!!!!!!!!!
That is forgery but apparently the Horry County Police Dept does not see that and have no common sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a person has to change their business name from Jackhammers to Vindicators Cycle, LLC and then to Vindicators Cycle, Inc. That should spell The TROUBLE OUT IN PLAIN ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's contact information for the three credit bureaus there and a few facts that might be useful...
I had my ID stolen a few years ago and it was a PITA to have resolved... To this day, Transunion has an address on my history that I never heard of...

This guy has done nothing but try to start trouble in his 29 post. Most of it pointed towards one person , unless you can prove your allegations this is not the place to be harming peoples reputations.

I am glad someone can relate to this guy's issues. Why do ppl have to prey upon others to pay their way? Are ppl so lazy this day and time that they have relie upon others to pay for their pleasures.
Just image if it was your wife that saw the hotel bills and you claim you were at your job. IT IS CALLED DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You with no shirt on your back. This guy makes a lot of us guys look bad to women.

If your friend cannot read, how did he get a drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement, and a credit card in his name?
? Should older ppl be taken advantage of because work was more important than school.
Credit card: over the phone. DLR: Back then just DRIVE!!!!
