I wonder if some of these ppl have been s******** around. Or that they were jerked around and was taken advantage of. Or was treated like a friend of mine.

Heres and Idea, run it as an exchange service, they ship you there carbs and as soon as you get them and verify they are "good" send them a rebuilt set. Then you know exactally what youve got into them and there is no "well it could be this much or that much" based on parts.

I read it as confusing when it comes to the float valves and gaskets. Are they included and any other additional parts are extra, or are we automatically adding more money to the price before we even start?

I agree to add them in right from the start if they are extra. That way people don't feel like your low balling the buy it now price, only to add more automatically.

          Are you kidding .

Then they'll just complain that what you sent back wasn't as good as the ones they originally sent to you.

The whole things a scary prospect. If the carbs are bad off I can imagine the tank is the same way. I could see someone putting their fresh carbs back on just to run a bunch of gunk through them from the tank and being back to square one blaming you for it.

Give them $2 worth of inline filters from the lawn mower section of advanced. Better yet put them on for him.

I think its a good idea. Worth a try.

Take a short video clip of each carb set when you install and tune it. Then if some one cames back and says they don't work right you can send them the clip and show them you have proof they worked great before you shipped. Etch a # in the side when its received and take a pic(showing #) before you work on them. Then in the short clip do a close up of the etched # showing the same carbs after there done and tuned.
Sounds like a lot of trouble, but would give you a reputation of being thorough, and can't be scammed. Once you e-mailed the clip and explanation of your documentation, nobody will try to challenge you.

I just have a couple of simple questions I hope that you can clarify for me. First how much is the service? Does that include all of the necessary parts? If I do not want to pay for shipping can you swing by my place after I get off work and pull them (at no cost) for me? If not does Sunday after 9pm work for you?

                    Thanx,

                    Dave

PS. I know it does not matter, but I thought I should mention the carbs I need cleaned are on my Benelli Sei.

Yeah like I got this bike and I think you need to clean them. Do you need the bike or can you do it by email? I don't have any money so like free would work for me.

Put all new parts in like jets and emulsion tubes. Charge them for it. Keep all the leftover parts.

When buy something I want a tracking number or shipping notification Emailed to me by the next day. At least something that says you understand you need to ship.
I bought a set of books from some prick for school that didn't ship until he had the money in his hand. That took about 2 weeks. So that if it was a problem I wouldn't be able to dispute. I didn't get the book till 2 weeks after classes started. I nailed his rating pretty hard. What a cock.

When I sold collectible cards, I wouldn't ship until I received payment confirmation through PayPal. But then, I only accepted payment through PayPal so transactions were instantaneous.
