  • Back in the saddle

Well, 20 years after my XS11G and I parted ways when I lived in Australia, around 90mph - me kissing the road and the XS 20ft in the air (the only time I ever wanted to be FAR AWAY from it)... Susan .. now wife #3 finally "allowed" me to get another bike... (I claimed mid-life crisis for all it was worth!!)
Hmm... fancy crotch rocket?... no... cruiser Harley? / Victory? / V-something Yammy?... no...
    A 28 year old XS11 special... YEAH BABY !!!

Susan said "You're gonna buy a WHAT ???"

I said... "You have to understand... its an XS11...argh arrrgh arrrghhh...."

With the XS & I showing our age, and both needing a little work, I pushed the starter, slapped into gear and stepped back 20 years, just like hugging an old friend... I handed over the cash and was....GONE LIKE THE WIND!!!!

After finding this site 3 months ago and watching all the great posts, I know there was only one answer...
    I'm home !

    What can I say but...

    WELCOME HOME

You're further proof that once an XS11 stirs your 'soul', you become XSive for life.

Ok, let's see how the "how to"instructions work for posting a pic...

1st try: Picture below = pass / no pic = fail...

                        Hey John,

What you posted were the URL codes from the top of the web page, that's why we've been able to see them, the links took us to your Flickr photo album.

What you wanted to do was to right click ON the actual photo, then select the PROPERTIES, and THEN you would see the URL for the actual photo, highlight it and copy it. FLickr puts some fancy code after the END of the photo's file name...the *.jpg part, something like "?v=0" and just needs to be left off of the code you copy. Then paste that url code for the actual photo into the IMG tag's pop up window and you'll get what you see below. I selected the Medium sized photos (500pixels wide) to prevent side scrolling if you use the 1024pix wide photo!

BTW, yes, very nice looking machine!!! T.C.
