  • 2 XS's SPOTTED!!!!!!!

    Ok, so every Wed. night there is a sport bike night held up in Rogers Ar. So i have been riding up there with my friend he on my XS and i have had my brothers for about 3 weeks sitting in the garage so i rode his........any ways, to night it rais and no one showed up, but we did. we heard about a bike convention going on down the road so we figured we would check it out. so he go pulling into the parkig lot of the convention center and it is the "STAR Touring & Riding Association" so we go pulling around the parking lot looking at all the bikes and vender stuff from yamaha that is there and..............welll..........

    What do i see?!?! A XS1100!!!!!! not just one but 2!!!!

    so we stop right there , get off the bike and start asking who's bikes they are......

    ends up they belond to the President of the STAR Touring & Riding Association............so i take off hunting him down....and i did... A super nice guy his name is Alan....he said that he gets on the fourm here every once in a while...... well he shares a huge intrest in the bikes and his are nice....here are some pictures that i snapped on my cell.









    and here is one of mine and my brothers as we wait out the rain.(pod filters)

      Alan's bikes look surprisingly similar to the color and styling that was found at Meriam Cycle.

        Yes there seems to be spme similarity but they are not bikes that Bob Jones did...That is rather clear...all in all they are still very cool looking bikes.having 4 XSs' in one place at one time is rare...unless is a Yamaha rally

          When I talked to him he said that he had talked to Bob Jones at Merriam just before he had past away. He is looking at doing a Merriam style bike with the performance upgrades.
