i got caught up in trying to save money because the guy hit me and i was trying to find the best deal on parts i screwed myself!

i shopped at mikes xs and at partsnmore. pnmore had the rubber foot rest replacements for 10/pr... and i thought mikes was 7 a pair but alas it was 7 for one!!! wtf. he supposedly gets his parts from the same place. so i was unhappy when i opened the big box with my daytona bar and my shiny new fender and found only one foot peg rubber replacement! now i'll have to spend 7 more bucks plus god knows how much for shipping.

bur hey at least the fender is really nice!!!!
it has a nice heavy plate reinforcement going around the inside!!!

Sh1t happens

at least you did it to yourself. My Father's day gift of progressive springs, fork seals & brake pads was to be a surprise. So the package from Dennis Kirk was sent to my wife's employer's country service multiple mailbox. Some clown put the parcel slip in the wrong mailbox so it was sent back to Dennis Kirk "refused delivery" Then my family gave up on secrecy and reordered from the local Yamaha shop. Parts showed up last Thursday, just in time to install before setting off to a bike rally. Tore the forks down and inevitably destroyed the old seals in getting them out. Then found the new seals & pads were for a Standard.
They were told "For a Special, the parts are different." But did they listen? Yeah, right. So I took my wife to the rally in the Buick. And you think you are upset?
