  • "Happy Birthday, Strom!"

Both Strom and his bike turn 30 this year....
    Are there similarities?

Are their "seats" both sagging or cracked?
Does one have balding tires... and is the other tired of balding?
    What about leaking "pet cocks"?
Perhaps, at his "advanced" age, he has a leaking exhaust valve, too.

    Thirty's not too bad, Strom...
But it's about the time that stuff starts going wrong on both machines.

Happy birthday. I think thirty was the year were I was running an enduro down this trail in the woods. New bike feeling great going as fast as I thought was humanly possible. I look over and one of the CMA expert class (read younger) flew by me not on the trail (in the D___ bushes) like I was rolling backwards. Shortly after that I think I invented the stoppie ( front wheel kicked up a short log that logged in the rear end). Being unexpected and new to the stoppie world I rode a ways on the front but a darn tree blocked my route. I took a rest in said tree and comtemplated life at thirty. I hope your thirty is better than mine
