I can't hear my cell ring while I'm riding (which is the way I like it) let alone even consider talking on it.
I have been critisized for smoking while riding...
But the critisizers are cagers....cages now come with multiple cup holders, ipod jacks, nav systems, elaborate sound systems, dvd players, snack holders, buttons everywhere and numerous blind spots.
Can I assume that the level on concentration one requires to operate a vehicle declines exponentially when the number of wheels doubles? I think not. Its my personal opinion that the leading cause of collisions (I hate the word accident unless it is used in an instance of freak mechanical failure) is driver inattention.
A guy that used to work for me once said "there is no such thing as a single vehicle accident.....just an attempted suicide"
