When I started cowboy shooting I needed a cowboy name. Someone said how bout Red Beard, you can guess why. After awhile I learned someone already had that name so I became Red Beard Bandit. When I signed up on here it wouldn't let me have Red Beard so I took Red Bandit. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
79 F full cruiser, stainless brake lines, spade fuses, Accel coils, modded air box w/larger velocity stacks, 750 FD.
79 SF parts bike.
The floor foremen at the plastic molding plants where I've worked have called me that because of my job (journeyman moldmaker) and because of the show Home Improvement. I'm constantly making stuff when I don't have the right tools I need. I guess either I cheap or I just feel the need to reinvent the wheel. Why buy it when you can make it!

My name is Dave. The area I live in is affectionately refered to as "Lake Country" because of all the souvenirs the last ice age left. When I lived in Milwaukee I always used "eastsidedave". Can you guess which neighborhood I lived in?
I'm a libertarian and a talk show junkie. I've been calling talk shows with the handle "Liberty" for some 20 years. My first name is Edgar, so E.Liberty. But nobody ever calls me Liberty (Too austentatious I guess,) or even Edgar. I'm just plain ol' Ed. Been thinking about changeing my handle. Loho suggested that since my bike is a Special I could be... SPECIAL ED!
But then I'd loose my 355 post.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!
My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
I've been riding since 1959.
I'm Geezer because I remembered this old guy asking for parts in my bike shop that hadn't been available for over 20 years. My thoughts were what a geezer.
Fast forward 30 years and I'm the guy walking into a bike shop looking for stuff that hadn't been made for 20 some years.
I remembered being on the other side of the parts counter and conversion and then I realized that now I'm the Geezer.
In real life everybody calls me Tony and I'm technogearhead on eBay. That came about from splicing 2 of my nicknames from working in computers together to make a unique name because everything else I wanted was taken.
