  • Time to upgrade!

Well not really, but if I had a disposable income I'd buy it! Who here is going to buy the new V-Max? At only $17,990, we can all afford to buy one and share right?

Just though some of you would appreciate a fast Yamaha, guess nobody would like to have one. I won't waste your time again, all 42 views.

I sat on one at Thunder in the valley last weekend (it's one of two in the country right now) and let me tell you, if I had ome extra cash, I'd buy one right now. There will be a max of 2500 built this year and you have to put a $1,000 deposit down by October to get one built for you. It has close to 200 hp and I got a chub sitting on it

        Hey Montreaux,

It's not that anybody doesn't want one, it's just that you're about 2 weeks late with your post!!

Previous Thread about the NEW VMax !

Folks just didn't want to post again I guess?

That's why we try to recommend folks doing a little search first, more than likely it's been talked about before!

Honestly, I have looked through different threads on here dating back 60 days over the past few weeks. I must have missed it. I like the power but the looks are rather different. I'll have to wait and get a used one in 30 years and restore it!

                        The older ones look better

I saw a timeline in photos of the V-Max from 1985-2008 and I do believe the earlier models have a cleaner line to them.I particularly like the wheels/rims on the '85 and '86..after taht they went to what looks like a more solid rim and isnt as nice in my mind's eye...Still this has got to be the meanest badboy boulevard bike out there.

I like the bike but if I had money laying around the house and wanted one, I'd have to have Yamaha put some different exhaust pipes. I don't care for those HUGE things on there now.

Not a problem though, no bags of cash laying around here.
