TC that would be wonderful but do you think that you would show no compression?

The head, in and of itself is nothing, but this bike has been fighting me since day 1.

It is the first vehicle I have ever owned that gets WORSE the more you do to it.

I simply can't put anymore time or money into a losing battle.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

If there's any truth to the saying, "Misery loves company." you may find some comfort in the thread I had going as I was beating my head against the wall last week. With stubborness driving me and advice from people in here (TopCat, etc) I finally got it up and running.

          Good luck with your bike.

If I was closer, I would take it away and perform a series of exorcisms and get it on the road. See if a member wants it and could come get it, or part it in the for sale section of the site. Don't burn it, though. Would be a complete waste or you the time and money you have invested.

I had it on the road, if you don't mind 25mpg, no power and burning a liter of oil every 120 miles.

Bending valves every other year, stripped mirror posts, leaking exhaust and crappy timing chains. Weak charging system, crappy signal lights, terrible headlight, mushy front brakes, tons of rust...

              Yep it's my favorite

Update: Looks like the valve is ok, but the head is toast.

Either way, I am not prepared to do anything about it.

So I probably won't burn it, but may just shove it behind the trailer and let it rot.
