this is me launching the bike getting onto the hway speed limit is 70.
i didn't do a good job explaining to my wife exactly what i was looking for in the video so she zoomed in closer than i wanted. and she was about 30 ft from the road and didn't get out of her car for a few mins for some reason??? about 5 mins later she got out so i rolled around to the intersection and waited for my green light and i hammered it. when i went by the car i was doing around 90 in 3rd i think??? if you listen close you can hear me shift twice so that's why i am guessing third.??? just as i got close to her the sky dropped and it started pouring! there was not a cloud in the sky ??? wtf!!!

oh well next time we'll get it right! oh i was shifting at 8000 rpm's

Very nice!!! one of my favorite things to do is burn people as i come onto the highway.....most people move over to the fast lane thinking that i will be going slow but when i hit the right lane going 80++ and pass them it leaves a smile on my face...


like this morning on my way to church there was some guy on his new '08 V-star 1100 pulled up beside me at the light and he decided to rev his motor at me....well when the light turned green he took off like we were racing or something,..... so it was good by v-star, buy the time i got to the top of the hill and made my turn to church he was catching up.....

I rode to a bike rally this weekend with a guy that had a Triumph of unknown size. He TRIED to race me. I was near an on ramp to the freeway afterwards and I started to slow up a bit. It is a nice long curve for this on ramp with no median between you and the highway... just a lot of asphalt. The Triumph was trying to hang with me when I got on it again for the curve. This curve tightens up a bit right before you enter the freeway and I had to lean it pretty hard while well into the triple digits, but made the curve no problem. I merged onto the freeway and looked back to see the Triumph make it to that part of the ramp and he couldn't hold the turn. He ended up clear over into the fast lane before he got it turned... thank goodness no traffic at the time.

When we got to the rally and were setting things up, a guy stopped and was asking him about his Triumph. He told the guy about it and ended with "I USED to think it could run until I met this guy.." and pointed at my bike.. lol. I just smiled a bit and never said a word.

I also had to show someone near and dear to me that the Harley Nightster 1200 won't keep up either...

I've found that I get more looks from people when I'm windin her up than anthing else. At 30 in 5th, she's a rumblin purr-kitty. At 80 in 2nd, she's a screamin devil coming to claim your first born.
