  • Make it stopppaaahhh!

Please tell me it is going to stop raining, someday!!! I am having XSive withdrawals and I need a fix. I know you in the Great White North are having the same problem, just different weather issues.
It has been raining, grey, cloudy, cold and foggy for weeks here in Houston. The only break was a few fridays ago, and I couldn't go riding then.

Ok, I'm done. Thanks for letting me vent. *sniffle*

Wow, this forum really is great!
I ask for the rain to stop and, an hour later, the sun comes out.
    That is amazing.

Gona take an afternoon ride today.

    Ride Safe.

It was SUNNY and 62 in Nashville today but will be 72 on Saturday. I feel for you - we had twenty-one days with a total of two hours of sun before this week.

              Gary -

IIRC, rain is the stuff that washes away snow. That's a GOOD thing! I could be wrong, though. Haven't seen any of the wet stuff for awhile

Hey guys, THERE IS HOPE!! The March sun is out today, cutting the snow. I can actually see asphalt! It is still only 15 degrees F, but.... Soon it will be April, then the tracking snow for the 1st day of trout season, then insurance, inspection, then ... Go, man, GO!

Well guys, don't feel bad; things aren't much better here. Between the weather and work, I've only been able to take the bike out twice since December 31st. And, to make matters worse, I still haven't put even 100 mi. on my new, Dunlop rear tire either.
BTW, a short while back we had a terrible ice storm. I was without electricity for just over 75 hours. The local P.S.D. couldn't pump water; I was without water also for just over 24 hrs. Some of my friends didn't have electricity for over seven days! The trees in this area are broke up and/or up-rooted so bad that it looks like a bomb went off!
I wish to thank all of the utility workers from Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Kentucky who came to our rescue. Even the Hotels these workers stayed in had no electricity!
