    I heard an interview with a CBC guy saying they didn't know how much CTV paid, but that CBC just couldn' justify the 2.5 to 3 million that was being asked. With that, I guess 100k as a prize for a new tune seems pretty frugal.

      I think I heard them say that a playoff game in Pittsburgh was worth 4+ million!

      An entry level player makes 800,000. No..... I don't think there is much money in hockey, let alone broadcasting it, what with the meager amounts paid by the advertisers.

      CBC dropped the puck, I er, mean ball, big time on this one.

          I hope you have figured out that there is no mystical tree that grows money, this would have been taken out of every viewers backs one way or another.
