  • xs-1100 parts

My wifes father passed away and we acquired two dismantled xs-1100 one frame is a 1980 the other is a newley powdercoated 1978 we have matching locks with keys, motors, rims, everything to build two bikes. I need help on pricing these or should I just build the bikes and sell them whole. Any help or buyers would be great.

First off pictures would be great! Next where are you? You'll probably make more money parting them out but we at channel eleven hate to see that happen.

        FIX UP

Put one of them together and save the other one for spare parts. Or fix both of them up and have a spare ride. With the price of gas today it would make a good fuel economical ride for you. With this site you can get it to run. Put in your profile where you are at and someone might be close to help you. Like was said early we don't like to see these parted out. If you don't like them after put them together then sell them, but once you ride one of these you WILL NOT be able to sell it. I have 5 of these bikes and I would not sell one of them. Gettin the 3rd one ready for the road now.
        Thanks Tom

If you part, this site makes it very easy. Everybody here nows what different prices go for. So, if you post an ad in th for sale section of all the stuff and say 'make me reasonable offers please,' that is what folks around here will do. Not to mention you get to avoid paying ebay and paypal fees and be supporting true enthusiasts.

On the other hand we do hate to see them go the way of parts. But if you do, do you have a standard tank ?
