    First and foremost, WELCOME!!

Secondly, there are a LOT of folks here running 4 into 1 exhaust on XS's, XJ's. Just remember that when you change the exhaust, you have to rejet the carbs. As far a mods go, nobody here will look down upon you for that. It's your bike, and we encourage you to enjoy it in whatever fashion you deem appropriate. We're here to help, offer advice, and cheer you on when you roll it out for the first time!

There is a wealth of knowledge inside these virtual walls. Be sure to check out the tech tips, FAQ, and links sections. You might find the info you need in those areas. If you don't find it there, use the search function and go by keyword. I've found a PLETHORA of info here, and I've never had to look anywhere else for info regarding my bike.

Welcome to the forum, read on and enjoy that bike!! You're one of us now. Resistance is futile...

          hmm... customize an XS?

          Use the search feature.
          Try user name xschop
He has done some very "bad to the bone" customer work.
Another that comes to mind is Da-Bubble and his "Mad Mosquito"

There be several others here that have done some supreb work here and you can also take a look at the UK XS site for more.

            Hi Custom & welcome,
it's your bike, do what you want with it.
(so long as you don't go rigid frame. If you really want to suffer the torments of the damned, flagellation is cheaper) a 4 into 1 should only need rejetting if the system is less restrictive than stock. Which they mostly are but they don't NEED to be.

              Hey Custom,

Welcome to the board. I replaced my pipes on my XS1100SG with the 4 into 1 Jardine. Now I wanted to keep it 4 into 2 but after a lot of searching, I couldn't find anything new that had a similar look of the muffler.

Any chance you are up in the Northeast? We could use a few more XSers up here in New England.
