This site truly is amazing isnt it? Un frickin real.

For the first two years I owned my bike, I went here for everything. However, I did not leave any posts or answer any. I would browse other people's questions and answers.

A word of advice for anyone new to this site--DO NOT START LEAVING OR REPLYING TO POSTS. YOU WILL BECOME AN ADDICT! You will browse until your eyes pop out and your head begins to hurt. Then, you will take a piss and start over again.

      Addicted?

      Hi Birch,
no, not me. I can quit any time. I just say what needs to be said then I shut up. I don't go on and on and on like some people. Yeah, right.

Like birch says, you can become addicted. Browsing this forum is one of the little pleasures I do each morning at my desk before I begin my grind for a couple of those almighty dollars. This place is a growing wealth of information and the regulars here are the kind of people worth knowing even if just from behind a keyboard.

Dont be afraid to ask a question as there are no stupid ones. And dont be afraid to respond to a thread if you have something to contribute. If you are right, you will know it and if you are wrong then....you will know that too.

        Welcome to the site.

I have to agree, and the number of posts I have already is testament to that.
This has become my 'guilty pleasure', like Dynasty or eating the whole pint of Ben and Jerry's at one sitting.
I have never met so many people so willing to share their knowledge and experiences. And certainly, people who just give support by saying "you can do it".
I want to remind everyone that there are costs that come with this site. I am new and I don't know who is the originator of this site or how the bills get paid, but we should all consider contributing to keeping it alive. I think there is a link to make a contribution on the home page. I may be setting myself up to be lambbasted but(amazingly, and a true statement of the kind of people that are here)noone ever mentions money, so I will.
I can't imagine a day that I can't come here and see the now familiar avatars and names, the funny comments, the serious contemplation of someone's electrical issue, and the constant demands for pix, pix! It would be tragic, really, for all of us and for those to come.
Thank you to the person(s) who's brainchild this was. You have created a place that no matter how young, old, inexperienced, rich, poor, etc. all are welcome.
Okay, that was entirely too serious...but necessary(IMHO). So, who's got pictures to post?
