I have two sons....nowadays, if I had a daughter, she'd be locked in the house about the time she turned 13 and I'd keep her there, let's go with about into her 40's so I knew no scumbag teenage boy with raging hormones would go near her. I remember how I was.....

In being a bit sappy, I would like to dedicate this song to you and your wife for all those nights you may wonder what you got yourselves into.

I was in a McDonald's the other day looking over at a mom and her two sons...OK, she was pretty hot but that's not the point of the story. The boys were getting her a bit wound up and I thought, man, I wish I could go back to the days when my sons were that age. The are now 20 and almost 14. The older one has been off in the Marine Corps for two years now.

Congrats Bubble, she's beautiful. Hold her often, reassure her just as often and hold your ground when she gets head strong (and she will) and she will be the Love and Joy of your life and will grow to be worthy of all the love you and SWMBO lavish on her.

Piece of advice for later... Get a shotgun, shoot the first boy who comes sniffing around and leave his carcass on the front porch. The rest will get the message...

I wish you and your SWMBO the best and I will tell you that I do not regret a minute of fatherhood, even with all the challenges it has presented over the last 27 years. My reqard for it... A new grandbaby due in November. I can't wait!!!!
