  • Yaaahooo, I got fire!

Drained the fuel from the tank and carb bowls, pulled the air cleanner along with the family of mice, new oil and filter, sparkplugs and new fuel, and yes a new battery. Twisted her tail this evening and she runs. I didn't run her real long as the muffler is gone on the right side (new ones comming). Dang I would have like to have taken her for a spin !

Mufflers will be here Friday - replace the tires and it will be time for a ride.

      Deny,

I know how you feel. My SG is in the shop having the carbs rebuilt and my rear fender is almost finished being rechromed. I worked my butt off replacing all kinds of old parts once the warmer weather finally got here.

I already registered the bike. Now I'm waiting anxiously for that first ride, probably in about 10 more days at the most....hopefully.

I started working on my SH now and I'm hoping by keeping busy on that, it will help make the time fly by.

When she fires up for the first time, it's like being parked with your girl on lover's lane and knowing that tonight is the night you dont stop at heavy breathing...

Glad to hear you got it lit. Now keep the handlebars pointed upward and ride it like it's stolen!!
