  • Some days are better ....

than others, I guess, but at least when I look in the mirror to shave (if I do decide to), as bad as my eyesight is and even on my worst day, I'm thankful that I don't look like poor Gordo, the next door neighbor dog. He really needs an orthodontist to fix that underbite, doesn't he? What do you say ... cute or ugly .... something else?

Normally, when a dog's that ugly, you could just shave his butt and teach him to walk backwards. Clearly, that's not going to work either in this case...

      Let the Dog Pictures Begin

I think they're cool looking but they have been bred so much for looks that most cannot bear puppies and have to have C-sections. They also have breathing problems. My cousin "tried" to raise them...had the female artificially inseminated....went thru c-section and then all the puppies died.

I'll stick with my Pit...at 85lbs the only thing he hurts is your lap.

Here's a redneck pic for you all.. lol. My kid brought home 3 little yellow fuzzballs that heir class had hatched out. I hand fed them and raised them to adulthood. Turns out they were Game (Fighting) roosters. This pic is from a few years back. My dog, pictured, died last year. The rooster got lead poisoning when he started chasing the kids around, then spurred the *&%$ out of my leg one day. My dog would fight any other dog in the neighborhood... but this rooster would whip his butt! lol. If we left the back door open, he'd walk in to where the dog normally stayed on that rug in the pic, eyeball the dog, the dog would move and get out of his way while the rooster would walk over and eat HIS food! lol.

You can see the way he is looking at me like, "I hate you for letting this happen!"

Also... some friends have a shar pei named Yoda that I like a lot...

No dogs of my own right now though (Or roosters) Last one felt like I lost a kid when he died.

Thewiz, that dog looks great! I would think he'd be an awesome pet.

Here's mine. His name is Apache. Great dog who never gets on the bed or couch. He's friendly on the playground but could easily take a limb of someone reaching into "his" truck or walking into "his" apartment.

Pretty dog. I love German Shepards. I had German Shepards as a kid. They are a great dog. I would have one today but just not enough room for one. I am stuck with my wifes choice, 2
