bought my '78E in October of '78 from a dealer in Sebring, Fl.
Last year I bbought a '79SF from a man in Winter Haven, Fl.
The Special had only eight thousand miles on it and the carbs were a mess. I cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and did the final drive conversion. It runs great now and gets 43 MPG.
