Ties and cables
A few years back a farmer in upstate NY put a cable across his driveway to stop people with snowmobiles from using his field. One evening while riding his own smowmobile he forgot about the cable and decapitated himself. It is common for city folk around there to do the same thing on fences when they are riding in unfamiliar areas at night. Snowmobiles have the pointed nose and windshield that lifts the wire to just the right height to take off one's head.......You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...

I knew someone back in the70's who was decapitated by a cable strung across a road that was closed. They were riding a snowmobile on the road (illegally) to the town dump at night, after a good snow fall, and the dump was closed, thus the cable. The cable had been used for many years. There was a sign hanging from the cable, but the driver didn't see it. When the driver realized what was happening, he ducked, but his passenger wasn't as lucky.

Cable cutters
You see 'em on helicopters. Sawtoothed Vees atop & below the helicopter nose. Designed to cut power or phone cables should the pilot fly into one. A lesser known Canadian invention now seen on helicopters world wide.Fred Hill, S'toon

When I was 13 I used to ride a dirt bike through a few fields to get to friends houses. One day the owner of one of them strung up a clothesline across one of the areas that he knew we'd go through. I was hauling ass through there one evening to get home before it got too dark to ride the bike (A Suzuki RM-80) and cought that sucker in the chest. Bruised a few ribs, and beat me up pretty badly. If I hadn't been standing on the pegs when I hit it, I'd have likely been hurt much worse, if not killed.
The worst part was when I woke up (a couple of hours later) I found the bike about 100 ft away and folded nearly in half when it smashed into a big rock. It wasn't even my bike. One of my friends had been letting me use it since he had gotten a new 125. My mother hated the thing, and I never heard the end of it after that.
Even now she raises hell at me for having these. Mothers...

Wow this is a strange threat. Only because when I was 12, I lived in a rural area and rode ditch banks and roads around fields every day. I had a Honda SL125. One day while running the route down the ditch bank, I noticed a refection and layed the bike down. It was a cable strung across the road just about head level. I think about what have could been every day.1980 XS Eleven Special

Here's how they mount wire cutters on the UH-60A Black Hawks.
You can see the blade mounted just in front of the tire, then if you look just above the windshield and back a few feet where it raised up a bit, there's a cutter for any wires that may wrap in the rotor if the aircraft were to ever fly into powerlines.
Now, the trick would be finding a place to mount them on your bike!

Well, if you really must know....
It started with the several general pranks, like TP'ing his house weekly, removing all the nails on the deck boards of his front porch (I think he broke his ankle on them), shooting out several of his windows with BB guns, sugar in the gas tank of his truck, etc.
It got progressively worse. Then it got ugly. Really ugly. The police were soon involved. They never did catch us though. We were pretty lucky.....and pretty stupid.
He moved away after that.80 XS1100SG
